Beamish

With uni well underway again for my third and final year. I have been putting all of my effort it to going out gaining research that I need to make my drawings look more exciting. So today I spent the day in Beamish Museum looking at the different machinery that was used throughout the industries. Lots of new inspiration and images to put into my work. Images soon of all of my recent sketches. 

Tent

I have spent my day at tent working with Katherine Morris who is the designer at Earth Inke Wallcoverings, showcasing her latest designs that are available to pre order. Had a fantastic day gaining new knowledge and information from her as well as a look around the rest of the show to gain inspiration. I now have a little collection of business cards to add to my book. Here is a little look at the stand that I was working on.

New products!

I have been busy working away again at new products I could make and bring to you. I am now making notebooks that are A4 and A5 and have my designs on them with ribbon ties and crystal detail. Hope you like them

New collection

I have recently been working on a small collection that was inspired by my trip to Kent where I took photos of flowers and some of them had bees on them. I made these into a collection for my mum to chose from for canvases. Hope you like them as much as I do. 

Zoe Murphy

With all of her experience owning her own company and screen printing on furniture, which I have never seen done before I had an amazing two weeks on my placement in Kent.

 I spent my time in her studio in margate in a crazy work space that was filled with furniture and swing boats all waiting and ready to have their make overs. We sanded, painted, printed furniture as well as a few deliveries and adventures to find stuff to make mood boards. 

An amazing two weeks where I learnt lots of information and gained heaps of motivation so that I am all set and ready to put back into practice when I go back to uni ... Excited!

Society 6

I am so pleased with the work that I produced this last project that I have put it on a website called society 6 for anyone to buy as a number of different products, such as just prints, cushions,T-shirts and iPod covers.
