Christmas

I hope everyone had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. With all of the celebrations going on I haven't had much time for drawing or designing but on Christmas Day everyone was very impressed with my own wrapping paper that I designed. Gift bags for my own designs will be on sale in the new year.

Minor done

My minor project is now fully complete and handed in. The project has flown. Had ups and downs but all worked out in the end.

 

 

Wallpaper

Now on my Etsy is wallpaper. I am starting to fill up my designs for wallpaper and see which ones are a little most popular. They have added crystals to give them a bit more sparkle and be different. They get printing in the US currently so I have to wait for the shipping but I am hoping to fine a manufacturer in the UK that can do the same thing, With it being produced on removable paper I think this is an advantage and you don't even have to use paste, it just takes water. Thought I would also give you a sneaky look at the new designs that will soon be available, hope you like them.

Thornback and peel

Well two weeks placement done again. This time I was at Thornback and Peel and having to live in London which added to the experience. I liked the London life but much prefer it up north the busy lifestyle and busy city got to me after a while. The placement was good with lovely girls working there and it easy enough to learn the techniques that they used. Mainly working on the production part of the business like folding napkins and hankys but the satisfaction of getting the orders out made that part worth while. Seeing the different designs and the way the studio worked made it worth the money.

Print workshop

Back working in the print room completing a workshop that taught me how to print a length of wallpaper. Was a long busy day but was worth it in the end just next time I will be producing my own designs.
